Book 2 in the Pleasure Partners series comes out today, 3/9/11.I got home yesterday from a two-week visit in Denver and Houston with two of my kids, their significant others and my brand-new grandson who's the cutest baby I ever saw!
Snow was scarce, and I was so looking forward to enjoying a nostalgic winter scene in Denver, which disappointed me by staying pretty much a sunny, balmy 60 degrees. The company was great, though, and I was thrilled that John and Chris hosted a brunch to introduce me to family and friends. I worked at my old field of expertise (accounting) to help John catch up with consulting work he got behind of while fighting off the flu.
In Houston, I shoved a month's worth of hugs and kisses onto little Henry and LoverDog, Jerald and Sarah's baby and huge cat respectively. We spent Sunday showing Henry off at brunch, an afternoon at Komodo's, and a fantastic dinner out. It was incredible! Just seven weeks old, Henry behaved like a little angel--happy as a lark as long as he was getting fed.
I hated hopping onto that plane Monday afternoon, but my own work is yelling for me. I'll have to do double-time writing to catch up and get my next books ready for release. More later!
Ooh, sorry you had to cut your fun short, but of course, I'm thrilled you'll be having more stories out soon!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new grandbaby! We're waiting for my nephew to arrive any day now--can't wait! Babies are just too cute and fun! (Except when one is bleary-eyed in the wee hours of the morning, but that's why I'm just gonna play with other people's babies now ;))

Wait until you see the cover for the next Pleasure Partners book, ENSLAVING THE MASTER. It's not scheduled yet, but I sort of imagine it will be coming around sometime in late April.
ReplyDeleteThe grandbaby just turned two months old and has already doubled his birth weight. My son and his wife are so cute, and such great parents--better than his dad and I ever were with ours!
